In our efforts to prevent others from seeing what is really happening in our lives, we have a tendency to mask ourselves, pretending that everything is fine, when in reality, we know we are not walking in truth. Sometimes, we view the shedding of tears as a sign of weakness, so in order to avoid having this stigma placed upon ourselves, we refuse to allow ourselves to cry openly when the need arises.
