Imagine a world where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. never existed. In this universe skin color determines your influence and your children’s very survival. Mixed Blessings is contemporary fiction and can be easily considered a genre-busting women’s thriller about how race and skin color isn’t a key factor building and growing strong relationships.
