Shades of Deception

Contrary to what the Police Chief sometimes thinks, Detective Bev Henderson is willing to accept a case may be simple and straightforward. She is, however, a thorough investigator and leaves no questions unasked. She has no difficulty in the official ruling of death by natural causes and tragic accident in three deaths that soon follow. When someone credible comes to her though with the suggestion one of the deaths could have been murder by poison, she takes the comment seriously. Within a short time, she realizes there may be far more to question than the single death. Could a seemingly innocent young girl be a cold-blooded killer instead? The reader in fact knows this is the case. When and how the truth will be uncovered and how it will end creates the suspense.
