This is a children’s book which is appropriate for kids from preschool through early elementary school. It’s a play on the song Hush, Little Baby, but it utilizes characters and rhyming patterns that are appropriate for Halloween. The book is short to keep the attention of little ones, and the sequences build upon each other. The descriptions aren’t grossly frightening but instead embody a fun, imaginative feel. The book travels with a little monster and his mom as they go through the neighborhood to get candy on Halloween night. Each neighbor is a fellow monster and character in the book.
