C.B., which is a nickname for Christmas Baby, has wanted, her entire life, to write an admired and loved children’s Christmas story. One day, the memories of her childhood in Germany at Christmastime made her realize she had all the material needed to write a great story.

Her idea came from a marvelous recipe that she loved and learned to make from a Russian pastry cook as a child and continues to make, only at Christmas, for over half a century to date.
