This monograph consists of seven chapters that each detail recent advancements in the field of health and disease. Chapter One presents the clinical manifestations, epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of Narcolepsy type 1, Narcolepsy type 2, Idiopathic Hypersomnia and Kleine-Levin syndrome. Chapter Two remarks on the history of phage therapy, biology and classification of phages, the effects of phage on biofilm, and the potential usage of phage therapy against MDR Klebsiella pneumoniae strains. Chapter Three discusses both the operative and non-operative approaches to the treatment and management of critical limb ischemia as well as their associated risks and outcomes. Chapter Four speculates on the relationship between sarcopenia and the metabolic liver as well as the impact of active sarcopenia treatment in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Chapter Five deals with the impact of spinal cord injury on cardiopulmonary function, exercise capacity, and quality of life.
