Trauma-Informed Care: Addressing Cultural Sensitivity of the Women Veterans with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Related to Military Sexual Trauma in the Veterans Administration and Civilian Health Care Systems

This is a book born from the mind of a woman veteran. Providing a space for women to write about and for women veterans who receive services for military sexual trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder. This book is a call to action to Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Health Administration and the civilian health care system to provide trauma-informed care where our US women veterans sometimes go for treatment. Above all, Trauma-informed care: Addressing cultural sensitivity of the women veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder related to military sexual trauma in the Veterans Administration and civilian health care systems gives voice to the millions of women veterans who feel they have no voice when interacting with healthcare systems.
