America’s Infrastructure and the Green Economy

Once a model of innovation and a sparkly future for the rest of the world, America’s infrastructure is outdated and crumbling. The US lags behind much of the world in internet access, bridge and highway safety, modern airports, and new energies. What will it take to restore America’s infrastructure and take it to the next level? Some point to the green economy as a solution to lifting America out of a stagnant job market while rebuilding and modernizing its infrastructure. But can it drive and sustain the economic growth needed to maintain America’s competitiveness on the global stage?
