There are some things in life that are undeniable. The grass is green. The sky is blue. Bunnies hop, wolves howl-and C. J. is in a wheelchair. For a boy of just eight, this might seem like something sad. In fact, the opposite is true, thanks to C. J.'s best friend and wise older sister, Gabby, who helps him believe being in a wheelchair doesn't stop anything. Gabby insists C. J. spend time outside. She says he needs the fresh air, but a simple walk becomes something else altogether when imagination gets involved. The brother and sister roll so fast that they end up in space. There they see many strange sights and-with the help of C. J.'s wheelchair-even get to play heroes. Although most kids have working legs, all children can relate to the feeling of being powerless. Over the course of this adventure, C. J. grows from a boy who thinks he can't do anything to a boy with confidence and joy. Things may not change in reality, but C. J. learns there are so many things that can be changed with a little imagination and love.
