Even though a puppy tries her best to live in a cage with lots of other puppies, she grows very unhappy--until two ladies from the SPCA rescue her one day. Thankfully it is not long before a mommy and daddy adopt her and name her Emma.

As Emma moves from a life of suffering into a home filled with love, she must learn how to go potty outside, how to get along with Klio the cat, and play with all the other dogs in her building.
