New Insights into the Language and Cognition Interface

This book brings together, on the one hand, theoretical assumptions in cognitive linguistics and, on the other, empirical studies on language. It portrays, in a compact manner, the latest state of the dynamically changing research in five areas of cognitive explorations of language, including conceptual blending, discourse and narratology, multimodality, linguistic creativity, and construction grammar.
