Tinnitus - A brave but tragic true story of one man’s life changing battle with severe tinnitus

For absolute hell on earth there cannot be much worse than a constant, 24/7 loud noise in one’s head. A noise that you know is going to be there forever. It’s known as tinnitus. This is not a medical book and sadly can offer no cure. It is just one man’s story. Michael Wilson fought tinnitus with great courage and the help and support of his wife and a dedicated doctor who became a close and true friend. He pursued all known medical treatments at the time, consulting top specialists, but he had to live with the awful guilt that he had caused his own utter misery by damaging his hearing with loud noise. Being a semi professional musician he listened to loud music on headphones for hours at a time. This true and strange story will serve as a warning to others about the danger that loud noise of any sort can cause to human hearing. A very tragic story but also one of great courage and love.
