Neglected, rejected and unloved by her mother, abandoned by her father, comfort was found in the sugar bowl and male approval sought in the playground and later in bars and clubs. On top of this an unfortunate event led to unimaginable pain and a subsequent longing to alleviate the distress. Using sex to get the love and affection she craved the journey began and, 100 or so men later, only recently concluded. Realising finally, the answer lay somewhere entirely different. The story is not pretty, but it’s honest and revealing. Nici is a healthy and happy mother of two gorgeous young adults who currently still live with her and their dog, Eric. She lives in the most beautiful place she has ever dreamed of living and has a job she enjoys. Life is simpler now and enjoyment is derived from walks, swimming and yoga. Life is good, really good. No longer on the rollercoaster more the see-saw.
