AUTHOR: Darren Allford is a self-taught maker of celebration cakes and customised cake toppers. Professionally trained as an executive assistant, Darren has spent the last decade indulging his creative side by creating extravagant visions of his imagination out of fondant and clay and he is delighted to get to share his knowledge and skill in this his debut published work. Darren has completed creative writing courses and enjoys writing both fiction and poetry and has performed at spoken word events in London where he lives. He works out of his home in Walthamstow in East London which also contains his ridiculously large collection of toys, plants and Star Wars memorabilia.
