When I am honest with myself and God, I find that He stands ready to respond to every cry of my heart. This confident knowledge of God’s faithfulness fuels hope in my heart and gives me the emotional strength to carry on through chronic illness and pain. I know, without a doubt, that God knows me and that even my doubt and fury do not surprise him. Throughout every challenge and disappointment, God is there, ready to respond.
