Abel loves competing. He entered the school spelling bee and won two tickets to the town carnival. Abel showed two school bullies, who were trying to take over the school wall, that he could compete and win a wallball challenge. But now Abel has a new challenge. Can he make the school swim team? There are five boys trying out for four positions on the team. He is a strong swimmer even without the use of his legs, but so are his friends Pouvoir, Lukey, and Petey. And then there is Chip. Although he is a not a strong swimmer, Abel discovers that Chip is the coach's son.
