The story is about a boy's adventure in an imaginary world where things are topsy-turvy. It is situated between the indigo and violet colors of the rainbow and can only be reached by the magical flower tail of his little Easter bird friend.

He finds it uncomfortable to be a different color from his surroundings, but that does not stop him from being a help to a creature in need.
