In the heart of the United States sits the quiet, restful town of Leighford. It's a close-knit community where everybody knows everybody and news--or gossip--travels fast. One of the cops is Leighford transplant Michelle Matthews, and she is ultimately the one who catches up to the rogue Cadillac. She takes a shot at the driver, too late realizing that the driver is her sister Kate's new boyfriend. Instead of shooting him, Michelle shoots Kate. Disasters abound as the small town is soon awash in blood and mystery. Although Michelle's sister survives the gunshot, Michelle starts down a path of vengeance on a hunt for Kate's mysterious boyfriend--a psychopath with a penchant for quoting Shakespeare. She'll do anything to stop this criminal, even if she ends up going above the law.
