Janet Warren taught Sunday school to four and five year olds for seven years, when her own children were small. She learned that children love to be read to and that they especially love stories about animals. Janet spent many years reading to her own children, well up into their teens. Writing is something Janet always dabbled in, from the time she was about ten. Janet always wanted to write children's books and even spent some time writing articles for children's magazines. Janet lives in a lovely little town called Cobourg, about an hour east of Toronto with her life partner Cavan, and Jett and Squeaks her two cats. She has two beautiful daughters who prefer to live and work in the big city of Toronto. Janet worked in Information Technology for over thirty years and will be retiring soon.
