Since the middle name of Hilda is May, the schooner named Fabiana bought relatives in chattels by means of the slave trade across the Atlantic Ocean. May is not necessarily the original name of the enslaved person. During the same time as the Atlantic slave trade, there also was the Arab slave trade.
