Ellie and Jack: Third Grade Ghost Hunters is written by Ryan Crawley, a certified Reading Specialist who has helped thousands of children become better readers. Two simple research-based strategies to improve reading skills are to have the child read more often and do repeated readings of the same book. This means finding books that kids are interested in reading! Through the author's research over the years, he noticed over and over that children love to read books that have a bit of mystery and paranormal, characters they can identify with, stories with pets, and a lot of humor. Ellie and Jack has all of this and more! And since we love animals so much, 20 percent of all profits from the book sales of Ellie and Jack: Third Grade Ghost Hunters will be donated to no-kill animal shelters that could really use extra funding.
