Throughout history God’s presence has been equated with earthquakes, storms, and all types of disasters. But when Elijah, the prophet, looked for God’s voice, it was not in the great and powerful wind, nor the earthquake, nor in the fire. God’s voice was instead found in a quiet and gentle breeze. It is my prayer that these poems will speak to each reader in such a way that he/she might experience the presence of God.
