Thirteen-year-old Victor has severe autism. Led by his dog, Cheyenne, with his nine-year-old brother, Luke, they go through a forgotten door in the side of a mountain to a time long ago where he loses his autism. They travel back and forth from past to present several times, and they learn truths about themselves that they never knew.
