It began as a cry from my anguished soul. A cry because the days looked so dark. The world itself seemed so dark and volatile. I would turn on the news to be met with the latest act of terror, the latest massacre of innocent lives. All I could do was drop to my knees, reach out my arms and cry, Father …Please send Him soon! We cannot take much more of this! The air was heavy and thick and the darkness seemed to be pressing in on my very soul.
I really cannot tell you what I expected at that exact moment, but I never expected the Savior’s words to my soul to be so very clear, so very persistent: Prepare, my bride. At first I thought I had misunderstood but they kept coming. Those three little words: Prepare, my bride.
