Scrap, a stray Pitbull, has lived in the same alley for many years and most of the time is able to forget how dangerous the owner of the alley is. But when she meets a human friend and fellow orphan, Rose, the problem comes back to hit her in the face. Now she must decide where her loyalty lies: with her best friend Dump or her new human companion? Most of all, though, Scrap needs an escape plan. Rose is confused and wants to help, but Scrap… or PB?… can’t let her get involved: there’s a good chance that Rose and their group of friends in Rose’s new alley will get hurt. Maybe… just maybe… Scrap will be able to figure something out, and the orphans, both dog and human, will find a home. But what about Dump? He despises humans. Hopefully, the smartest girl in Rose’s group will convince him that humans aren’t all bad and he’ll find his true family too.
