I Will Build My Church: An Introduction to Ecclesiology

As Pope St. John Paul II made clear in his apostolic exhortation Catechesi Tradendae, The definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ.

It looks at its founding by Jesus Christ, its establishment by the apostles, and its continued work in history, and answers how the Church can be Christ’s Body and Bride, the Family of God, the Ark of Salvation, and an institution filled with sinful human beings.
