These stories are of a lady called Hazel and the man that she works with, simply called the Sheriff. They fight crime together in their little outpost town. They go to great lengths to catch the bad guys. Hazel is very outspoken, and she is the best shot in her neck of the woods. She believes in shooting first and asking questions of the next of kin later on. She is a spitfire, and she does not willing back down from a fight. The Sheriff and Hazel don't always see eye to eye, but they always get their man. They go after them wherever they run to, and that what the stories are based on. The wild trips that their cases take them on will amaze you. They fight a lot, but they still get the job done. Hazel has a loose tongue, and she doesn't care to say what is on her mind even if they don't want to hear it. She is very funny, and she has some wild ways of getting her point across.
