Siana is barely twelve years old when her parents, in order to get rid of a mouth to feed, marry her with Brieg, sixteen. She suffers countless miscarriages and as many devastating typhoons which force them to constant moves from one island to the other. She eventually manages to have a baby but at the age of five, the little boy is taken away by cylone deadly floods. Nevertheless, Siana fails to realize this until she recovers her memory. Overwhelmed by sorrow and guilt, Brieg's love helps her to get back on her feet. Then both work like Trojans to build themselves a new life. Unfortunately, when they start to forsee some light over their future, Mother Nature strikes again, leaving them with nothing they had forgotten that their islands were places not to be trusted. Desperate, Brieg migrates to their country's capital in search of a better life. Alas, caught up by big cities' vicissitudes, he and his newly born son are contaminated with HIV. This news causes him complete stupefaction for he never cheated on his wife; at least that's what he thinks. The couple blames their misfortunes on the typhoons and at the end of the day, Siana remains with no husband and no child. Deeply revolted and firmly decided to carry out the fight against global warming her late husbands always wanted to initiate, Siana leaves their island and then their country in very curious circumstances. Once in Europe, she meets Casimir, a young African man thrown to the place neither by poverty nor by a cyclone but following a tragedy due to his country's own plagues. Siana and Casimir's despair, anger and revolt meet, mix and blend, giving birth to two fiercely determined persons ready to fight their countries' scourges with all their might for, these in fact are world's scourges considering their impact and their magnitude. However, beyond this common cause and common commitment to the society, given their so different backgrounds, cultures and life history, will the two young people be able to link their personal fates after acknowledging their love?
