The engagement of life in all its surprises, the faces and actions of people, the impressions given by nature, the way these stir the heart and entice the mind into a resonant speaking of the occasion become incidents of poetry in the poet's mind. At least I find it that way. These are collected-some are selected, brought together in this book. Once they are here, they are invited to play poet with the minds and hearts of readers, even of this reader, on revisiting them in the course of time.
