Today is Percy Panda’s first day at school. He is very nervous to be away from his mother, but Mother Panda reminds him that he’ll have his friends and his teacher–he won’t be all alone!

During the first day, Percy makes new friends, goes out and plays at recess, and starts to learn the alphabet. He soon sees that school can be lots of fun. As time goes on, Percy learns new games and important lessons that will help him as he gets older. He also meets new students, gets homework for the first time, and starts to prepare for the class play. What an exciting first year of school!
