This book is a true story that looks back on an era that was a pivotal point in America; regarding not only the events leading up to my enlistment in the Women’s Army Corps, but depicts some of the main events in the Civil Rights movement in the 1950’s and 60’s. It is a personal point of view that tells some of the profound experiences that shaped life of a single individual and her family. The journey includes travel, domestic difficulties, children and the struggle to get an education. Through it all, I grew up and learned to know for certain that, all my help comes from the Lord.
