My book, Adam and Amy Have Asthma will help a young person understand asthma, the symptoms, the triggers and how they will need to take care of themselves. There are colorful illustrations in the book and examples of an inhaler and a peak flow meter. At the end of the book there is also an asthma description and medications that are typically used to treat asthma, which was written by an asthma doctor. Adam and Amy Have Asthma will show the child that they are not alone in having this disease and will also give the parents some guidance as well. My hope is that this book will help everyone who experiences asthma.
