Little girls growing up are asked the question what they want to be when they grow up. A variety of answers flows through the mind of a child. Depending on the family in which they grew up, some may answer, married with children, big house and lots of money . Sometimes as mothers, we don’t share the ugly of the world wit our young girls, so they are not prepared. As adults we get confronted with abuse, poverty, grief and health issues. These issues are normally not addressed in our conversations with our mothers. However we must understand that we have a God that will always be there to lead the way. This book shares a few things that I have learned along the way that I wish I could have asked my mother and how God helped me to understand through his word. I have been married to John R. Quarles, Jr. for 36 years and am the mother of 3 sons (John, Marcus and Shaughn). I am the Pastor’s Wife of Greater New Hope Church of God in Christ, Fairbanks, Alaska. I serve as Church Mother to teach, inspire and encourage women of all ages and stages of life.
