Author BioDavid Autry is a retired United Methodist Minister who lives with his wife in the foothills of northwest Georgia, their place of birth and childhood. This is his first attempt at writing a book. These articles have been a production rising from over forty years of ministry in the local church setting. They have been carefully selected and edited from his columns in local newspapers and church newsletters. His hope is that the reader will entertain the thoughts as herein put forth, think about them, digest them, agree or disagree with them, and move on from there. As the title suggests, if there be any virtue for them to be used in any way a reader finds of service, permission is granted by the author.David is an avid reader, a woodworker in general crafts and furniture (including sawmilling), a gardener of sorts, and a lover of good music. He is married to Linda Price Autry of Rome, Georgia. They have two children and four grandchildren who reside in Carrollton and Acworth Georgia.
