About The AuthorShe was born Shirley Ann Oliver to James and Ann Keyes Oliver in Orange New Jersey on June 10th 1943… the second in line of four children. Her curly hair and big brown eyes prompted her Mother to name her after the famous childhood star at the time, Shirley Temple. The big brown eyes still remain. (smile)She was educated in the Orange school system until her freshman year in High School when her family relocated to East Orange and she attended East Orange High School where she graduated. After completing Nursing School at Lincoln Hospital School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina she met and married the love of her life, Otis Scott. To this union two children were born a daughter, Cynthia and a son Michael. While working at North Jersey Community Health Center she was afforded the opportunity to continue her education at Jersey City State University in Jersey City, NJ. Mrs. Scott continues to work part time at Newark Community Health Center caring for her patients that she loves dearly.Writing, spending time with her grandchildren (5) great grandchild (1), traveling and worshiping are some of her favorite past times. Take the journey with me and relate to some of the blessings that have come to me and you.
