When Lizzie is retired from her job as a school bus, she wonders what will happen to her. Soon though, she is on her way to an amazing life. As Lizzie grows older, she understands that life is not just about me , and she learns to embrace new people, new experiences, and new adventures. Lizzie’s conclusion is that all of life is wonderful when one has friends to share it. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Connie Rae is Connie Rae White of Wichita, Kansas. Connie is retired after fifty years working in medicine, the last eighteen years as a Physician Assistant in rural Kansas and Oklahoma. Connie has always enjoyed writing, but this is her first experience with publishing. This book began as a 500-word short story which won first place in a monthly photo contest in the Kansas Authors Club, District 5, (see photo below).
