The Best of the Best in RED! The Red Serge of the ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE: an international icon recognized as one of the most esteemed symbols of righteousness. Even this noteworthy institution of peacemakers is continuously bombarded with remarkable expectations. The antics of policing in the past compared with today’s global crime fighters, now humorously and optimistically revealed through REDiculous encounters that most men and women would never believe! Relive first-hand this international policing veteran’s passion, trials, and triumphs, now fully disclosed, as his career unfolds with clear assurance of Divine intervention. From Volume I Part Four Chapter 17 - Elevator Leggings
…Now compressed near the back right corner of the elevator, the doors opened almost floor by floor to accept new passengers… Being overconscious that I may accidentally touch someone with my elbow, hand, clipboard, or backside, I sucked in some air to try to make myself thinner, while shuffling with baby steps from side to side, so as to avoid non-consensual contact… Suddenly, I heard a thud accompanied by some pressure on my left big toe. I casually glanced down, only to discover in horror that my gun had slipped out of the ankle holster, fallen down my pant leg, and was now jiggling between my feet… The elevator doors opened, people left, but others entered. The elevator traveled up and down. Sometimes stopping on each floor; other times racing to the highest level, only to pick up one individual going for a coffee break. Thirty minutes past and the elevator was still not empty. I began to feel nauseous, as if overdoing a Disneyland ride. I contemplated banning new passengers … saying this was a police emergency. Had any other Constable ever commandeered an elevator before… ?
(LOL) Laugh Out Loud!
I couldn’t wait to read the next chapter.
