Dr. Goodell has been a pastor for over sixty years. He has been involved in church planting in the United States, Haiti, Romania, and the former Soviet Union. Under the Reagan Administration, Guy worked with a presidential staff member, Dr. Bob Billings, and smuggled Bibles into the Soviet Empire. He has traveled frequently to Russia since the breakup of the Soviet Union and he has also ministered in the Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and other of the former Soviet states.Guy has also founded and operated Strength for Living, a Christian counseling center associated with and ministering to local churches. As a counselor and educator, Goodell has also developed courses for several Christian colleges in the United States, Russia, and the Ukraine.For twenty-five years, Guy conducted seminars for the New England Association of Christian Schools, encouraging and developing teacher skills for managing traditional classroom settings. Dr. Goodell has also traveled to local schools providing consulting for establishing church school programs.Guy has earned the following degrees: A.A., B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. He has taught at major colleges, universities, and seminaries in the United States and in Russia. Presently, he is pastor of Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church in Hudson Falls, New York, and he is writing and publishing books to encourage and edify believers.
