WHAT DOES GOD WANT FROM US ?Listen to Him: Faith-Holiness-LoveTwo Different Views Of His WorldHave you ever thought just how amazing it would be to view the world from the top of a mountain with God at your side, while He tells you about His creations? Or what would it be like to walk with Jesus, the Christ, down a long dirt road, asking Him about His reaction when people totally disregarded His instructions for Eternal Life with the God-Head?Be assured that as you carefully read through this workbook, your concepts of Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God will grow. By the time you have finished reading this workbook, you will have examined several concepts, some of which may be thought provoking and very new to you. This will lead you to conceptualization, that is, taking an idea or concept of something and mentally combining all of its characteristics and particulars. You will then be able to construct concept building within a framework. For example, almost all people who profess Christianity, say loudly but incorrectly, that Jesus, in Matt:16.18 said, …I will build my church… The Greek word for ekklesia does not translate to church. By the edict of a King it does, but we do not depend on Kings to develop the word of Al Mighty God! In English, the word Ekklesia reads as ( ) and translates to Congregation (and/or) Assembly. The Greek word for Church, rarely used, is from the word Kuriakon. This will be discussed in some detail in Chapter Two of this workbook.
