The focus of this book is on the four gospels. Each gospel was written with different readers in mind, different cultures and in different languages. All had one focus. Matthew, Luke and John were all eye witnesses of Jesus. Mark learnt from the disciples staying in his mother’s home and from Peter and his teaching in Rome. Jesus emphasised the importance of his Word. It is our guide in this life and the basis of the culture in heaven. We need to be thoroughly trained by his Word and be ready to respond to his prompting. I hope this book will motivate the reader to study the gospels and learn of Christ in greater depth.
