Karen Craig’s Matin Latin is a perfect introduction to the study of languages in the elementary grades. Her unique Latin-English combination is such a practical approach. Karen takes the student beyond the memorization of vocabulary and chants. She equips the student with all she needs to be able to read and write simple Latin stories early in the study of Latin. Karen Craig’s strong linguistic background is very evident in her picture-approach to learning language and her systematic way of guiding the teacher and student.
