This book is a about a young boy growing up under the influences of Mother Nature. With his father as the teacher, the boy had many experiences hunting and fishing that became the foundation of his indivduality. Each episode is based on a true story that became a lesson to the boy and aroused in him a search for the sense and significance of his life. Some of the episodes are very profound.
