El jardin de Leota fue una vez un lugar lleno de belleza, donde las flores florecian y la esperanza prosperaba. Era su refugio de las heridas profundas que infligio una devastadora guerra. Ahora, a sus ochenta y cuatro anos, Leota Reinhardt esta sola, y su preciado jardin esta en ruinas. Todo esfuerzo que ha hecho por reconciliarse con sus hijos adultos ha sido en vano, y ella le expresa su desesperanza a un Padre amoroso, su unico amigo.

Dios entonces trae el cambio por medio de lo improbable: un estudiante universitario con sus propios planes, quien cree saberlo todo, y una nieta que Leota nunca espero conocer.
