Gruenberg’s Bela Bartok: Ten Easy Pieces is a must-have for any teaching library. The edition is thorough, and the music is nicely edited. The real treasures with this edition, however, are the helpful teaching videos. Although Gruenberg isn’t the first to include teaching videos with a piano book, her short video demonstrations may set the standard for literature books going forward.
