Someone is after former Florida Fish & Wildlife Officer Charlotte Charlee Tanner. After a string of violent incidents, it’s clear that Charlee has been in the crosshairs longer than she imagined. Her best friend and newly-promoted FWC Lieutenant Hunter Boudreau decides he’s not letting her out of his sight until they catch whoever is after her.

But Charlee won’t sit by and let others protect - or die - for her. As danger closes in and Charlee and Hunter’s unexpected attraction threatens to consume them, Charlee has to decide if she can trust Hunter. And to save Charlee, Hunter will have to trust her, too.
