The Bible is generally believed to be the very word of God-that is, words that were spoken by God at different ages through different people and mediums for the benefit of man. For this reason, its contents are taken to be sacred, true, and enduring forever. Hence, the thought of doing intensive academic works on the various positions of the Bible is hardly done.
