Mary Jane Staudenmann has been teaching and consulting in astrology since 1982. An American living in Geneva, Switzerland, she has studied astrology and the tarot in Geneva, in addition to her far-flung reading of modern humanistic astrologers in both French and English. She brings her approach toward astrology a background in psychology and a paramedical career (as a dental hygienist -an excellent platform for studying human behavior, she insists). Desire and Design is the product of a two-day seminar devoted to Venus and Mars that was held in Geneva.
