The establishment of a colony on the new planet, now known as Haven, was a crucial investment in humanity's future. After 250 years, the colony thrives. Haven's self-sufficient residents love their world and no longer feel any attachment to Earth.
But back on Earth, conditions grow increasingly desperate, and the people look to Haven for salvation.
