This is the saga and true story of Norway's King Olaf Tyggvason as told by the mystical Snorri, the storyteller. Olaf was born to royalty and was later captured and sold as a slave by pirates when the kingdom of his family was overthrown by Earl Haakon. This is Olaf's story as he struggles to regain his kingdom and fights for the woman he loves. Through his conquest, he brings the word of Christianity to Norway and ultimately sends Leif Erickson to discover the New World during the year 1000 AD.
