This book will focus on a few of the women in the Bible. There are over 120. I will expound on the most prominent ones to help eradicate the myth that women shouldn’t pastor or serve in any position, usurping authority over men. Whereas we will find in the Old and New Testament they did. However, the men are the dominant ones, meaning their use by God is mentioned more than woman. One way Webster dictionary put it is like this, Exercising the most influence or control governing. Now I don’t have any problems with men being the head, because they are ordained by God to be the head, and I love it. But that doesn’t mean a woman can’t be in leadership with authority over men. It seems to me that being the head or in leadership from the male perspective means to give orders. And most have difficulty with taking orders from a woman in the religious sector. Leadership isn’t about giving orders but about working in harmony to accomplish common goals. Our common goal should be to please our God.
